I just them grow over from their rock to a piece of rubble,then take a razor blade and cut the connecting tissue.

You can't really frag polyps or zoas like that. You can't just cut them in half. Plus they are poisonous.

NO !! you have to take the ENTIRE polyp (or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5) or none. you can not just cut it like a mushroom, or it will wither away and die off. i usually try to cut a few polyps from the center of the colony so that the whole colony regrows the hole in the center, instead of just the outer edge trying to regrow the cut part.
