How to get rid of Colonial Hydroids?

How does one get rid of Colonial Hydroids? I found a few small clustered groups (about three) but so far on every website I've had I have found has no answers except panacur which I refuse, since I have snails, starfish, corals and my loving peppermint shrimp. Besides them, I have 2 ocellaris clown fish. At the moment they only appear to bother me and no one else -,-

How does one get rid of them.... or should I just let them run their course?
Thanks so much for your help!

I've had some on a rock that never seemed to spread and I just kept my corals from getting close to them. And Ive had them at other times spread all over the place, the only thing Ive had work for getting rid of them is manual removal, take the rock out of the tank and scrape them off of it then rinse the rock in a bucked of waste water after a water change. Or there's cooking the rock but that's extreme treatment.
