How To Removing Coralline Algae from Silicone In Tank?

Hey All,

I love the encrusting coralline all over the rocks, and I can clean it off the glass, but how do you remove it safely from the silicone in the tank? I'm afraid to damage the seals and cause a leak, but I would love to remove it. I noticed over the years that my magna float actually damages the seal a little...

Any suggestions?
Thanks!
David

I use a new M-16 cleaning brush to scrub my silicone. It's like a really really stiff bristle toothbrush. It can take a little scrubbing to get the coraline off but it doesn't damage the silicone at all.
