Hydor Pico Evolution flow rate adjustability

I'm looking at replacing the return pump for my nano tank. Can anybody tell me about the flow rate adjustability from their experience with these pumps? I'm mainly interested in the range of adjustability and how well that works - most small adjustable pumps I've used seem to only actually offer "high" and "low" settings, despite there being a knob rather than a switch. Thanks!

I use two for my ten gallon sump, one in and one out, using the flow controls it was easy to adjust to get the rates almost identical. it has 4 or 5 settings, and you can visibly tell the difference in each one when you change the setting.
