can you do hyposalinity in you dt if you have corals?

No corals and inverts need a salinity of 1.024-1.026, it would end up killing them.

so sence i have ich and no qt tank all i can do is wait?

Yep pretty much. Any medications sold to fight Ich that say "reef safe" don't really affect the parasite.

I had ich show up on my dog face puffer when I first got him. I soaked his food in selcon vitamins and also some garlic. Fed him good and he got rid of it after about a week or so. I havent seen any signs of ich in about 8 months.

thank for the input BL1 and bwilhite i will look for that stuff and keep a close eye on my yellow tang. ill keep you posted on how everything turns out i hope for the best.

Just remember the ich is still present although you may not see visible signs on your fish.

yes i read that. the only true way to get rid of it is to have the tank fish free for 8 weeks. thanks for the input nick
