I was trying to raise my alk. So I mixed up a batch of Marine buffer and was slowly dripping it in to the tank. The last time I did this I added it to quickly and it turned my algae in my scrubber gray:shock: Lesson learned...sort of. So I set up a drip system and everything was great. The Alk was slowly on the rise over several days. THe problem is I forgot to turn it off when I left yesterday and the alk today was at 14dkh:pooh: I did a 10% water change (that is all the water I had on hand) and it dropped to 13dkh. Everything looks fine The water was REALLY CLEAR this morning. There is lots of new coraline growth on the back wall, power heads. This just started 3 or 4 days ago. Should I do another water change or wait it out? Note, I have been dosing Bionic just to keep the alk at 7 every other day.
