I was wanting to know what do mantis shrimp do for a refugeum?
I was alwas told that they were pest and should alwas be taken out of the tank.
can someone tell me what it can bring to the aquarium?
and if it is a good thing to have in the refugeum than can i have my snails and crabs in the refuge with it?

Most of them will kill your inverts. That's what they eat. Some of them kill fish. People enjoy them as an aggressive pet. They don't really "do" anything for your system.

The reasion that i ask is unless it is a usfull invert in my tank i will probly sell it to my LFS
