I need help building a sump!!

I have a 50 gallon show tank and i want to bulid a sump for it. Any suggestions? I want the most simpilest way possible!!

That video was awesome and it answers many questions I had floating around in my brain....too bad I just bought a sump online already though. Oh well, I think I might do that for my 30 gal though. That should be simple maybe a 10 gal or 20 gal should work for a 30 gal right?

You can do it for any size tank.

Biff....would a 10gal sump be too small for a 30gal tank in your opinion? I dont know if a 20gal would fit in my stand.

I dont think anything other than a 10gal would fit. A 20gal would actually fit, but getting it inside the cabinet through the front doors would be difficult.

A 10 gallon would be fine. That's adding a lot of extra volume to your water capacity, and you can easily move your equipment into that.

You could, but it might be to small. Bigger the better. Just go big as you can!

It would be a pretty tight fit. You may not be able to fit the fuge in it.

If a 20gal doesnt fit in the stand then I can do a 2 chamber 10gal sump and just get a HOB fuge.
