Ice Cap Thermo Fans

Greetings All :D

I'm new to the site and have a quick question. I am using two Ice Cap fans to cool my light hood over a 75 gallon tank. I have two metal halides and two power compacts. My question is: the thermostats that control the fans seem to have gone south (stopped working). :grumble:

Can I just clip them off and solder the wires together to bypass them and just run the fans full time???? I'd rather not have to replace them.

you should be fine doing that or call icecap and see if they have a warrenty for them

Well, I fixed my problem :oops:

The fans were just stuck from cleaning. DUH!!!! I feel stupid.
