Identification and Help

Hi guys iv had this guy in my tank now for about a month and i forgot what it was called.

I think its polip type coral or daisy, anyways it had 8 fingers and im just wondering if it looks like its doing good ??? It hasnt attached to the rock its on so im wondering if they do attach to the rock ??? When i got it it was sitting on the sand bed at the lfs, and right now its a half way up the tank, Should i move it down or does it look fine where its at ??

Looks like pink star polyps. They will attach to the rocks as they spread. They look healthy.

Ok cool thanks. So there placement i have the middle should be good

+1 Biff...they can pretty much be placed anywhere in the tank.
