identifing item on coral

That's a majano anemone. Eeek! Kill it -- it's a major pest and will sting and kill your corals. It will also spread like crazy. I recommend a product called Aiptasia X -- it will take care of it.

I'm not quite sure what you're pointing out on the rock. The thing on the right? It kind of looks like a clam? Maybe I'm not seeing it right.

it is base of anenome.

I hope not bad, I just paid 50 bucks for it.
And I am pointing out the clam looking thing on the right.
What is it.

Are you sure mojano before I call and get mad.
Thanks

How big is that anemone that you bought? Majanos are small. If it's large, then it's something else. I just thought it was a small hitch hiker.

It is around 3 inches diameter.
Its tents around 3 or 4 long.
Young kid thought long tentacle?
I had to take out of tank. I now owner and is reputable store.

Okay Al, I saw in your other thread how big that anemone is! It's not a majano or a pest, sorry to get you worked up! I thought it was the size of a quarter or something. But it's big!!!

I'm not quite sure what kind that is! Someone else should know. At first I thought long tentacle, but long tentacle don't usually have those bulbs on the end.
