if u could build a new sump what would be in it?

i plan on building a new sump and have lexan to build a 54"X14"X14". how would you build it and what would you put in your sump if you were to do a new sump right now. any suggestions would be appreciated.

how big would ur fuge be and what would be in it? sand depth?

u wouldnt put an algae scrubber? i must say what i have been reading is intriguing....

I wouldnt put in an algae scrubber because they are very messy and noisy, but they do work wonders. I have one currently and I am changing because of the things mentioned above.

I would make my fuge as big as i could and no sand, only rocks and macro algae.

well.....one of the most important things is...the bigger the better...i would some room for my skimmer to fit dowmn there...maybe even as a hang on back on the sump...a good bubble trap before the return and before the fuge...

I *did* rebuild my sump :) It's a 65g pond liner tub...has all of my equipment, including a fuge.
