After nearly half a year I am back to the forum :D
I have managed to pick up a second 55 gallon tank for free :^:
I will use this as my sump. The other tank i have which has plastic edging and is in better condition will be my display tank.
As i I am on a budget i have decided to opt out of having a protien skimmer and instead use an algae scrubber. My sump deign is below...
I am unsure whether this will work....Instead of using an overflow system i have planned to pump from one stage to the next, this way i can make the refugium as large as possible....My sump is still quite basic though so is there anything I should be adding?
Im sure i have a million more questions but I cant think of them right now...so i will add them later :). Any suggestions/improvements would be appreciated :bowdown:
