FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied diet of fresh, frozen, flake fare for marine herbivores, spirulina, zucchini, broccoli, leaf lettuce, dried seaweed. Feed min. 3 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Generally safe and desirable. If underfed may nip at large polyped stony corals.
CAPTIVE CARE - Lest aggressive of the family but may show aggression to conspecifics, a good fish to control filamentous algae and in some cases individuals will even eat bubble algae. Keep only one per tank unless a very large system is provided.
