Reefing newb
I just recently was given a 75 Gallon Salt water tank it has been set up for over a year and just noticed the other day that there was these white bubble looking things on the rock growing there is 2 now and they are new.I thought maybe it was bubble algea but they are white in color and not green. I have circled them in red can anyone tell me what they might be and if they are harmful...

Thanks,

it's kinda hard to tell..

Though I am familiar with regal tanks... looks like yours is suffering and is missing vital parts of his natural diet..

The lines around his eyes are a sign that he isn't getting the vitamins he/she needs.

Get a veggie clip and some dried seaweed he will love you.

A picture of mine if your interested.

Good luck, but i would also guess a type of sponge, but not certain.

I agree . appears to be a sponge. keep an eye on it and let us know if it grows or better pic. not to worry at this point appears to be a good sign if you can maintain it. it will help filter your system. WELCOME TO THE FORUM.
