Interesting Find While Walking on the Beach

Went walking this afternoon at the beach. I was looking for small pretty rocks to frag my zoas and palys on. This was lying there. It's a very intriguing and attractive piece and I wondered what it was and if I could use it in the 29?

Those are barnacle shells. You could use them, I would just boil them to make sure they are clean before adding them to the tank.

I really liked the rose and pink coloration to the piece. I did succeed in finding nice small rocks for fragging. I must say, you know you're addicted to the hobby when you're out beach trolling in 40 something degree weather while it's misting rain!!!!

I've found a ton of rock and barnacles on the beach. Let it turn bone dry or put in in bleach (then de-chlorinator) to kill any parasites on it.

Ya made me look. That has got to be one of the cutest things I ever saw. I now must have a barnacle blenny to go play in the barnacles. If anybody asks me I'm gonna say - it's ALLLL the fault of -Pirate- :fish: !!!!!!

I swung by my LFS today and guess what they had... A BARNACLE BLENNY !

No I didnt get it but I thought of your barmacles.
