Obviously don't use the water that's in your Dispaly tank for your QT...Can you run up to the LFS and get some water for the QT?

i made up new saltwater for the qt and no i def cant get water closest lfs is fresh only and it closes at 8:00 est std time its 9:42

Sorry to hear about it there kris. Sounds like you got some silicone that had some antimicrobial in it. Ended up killing off your biological filter. Causing an ammonia spike. I have personally used the loctite brand silicone and on the back says safe for aquarium use. You definantly want to avoid any that say use for kitchen or bath since they usually have the antimicrobials in them.

If you havnt already caught that wrasse.Pull the rock out of the tank before trying to net him.If start moving rock without knowing where the wrasse is,there is the chance of sitting a rock on him.
