FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied diet of frozen and dried marine algae, spirulina, crop of microalgae in the tank is a plus.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Has been known to nip at stony corals and clam mantles, feeding activity stirs up sediment at times.
CAPTIVE CARE - Provide a well established system with live rock and some active algae growth, large specimens may attack tankmates (especially other blenny species). Keep only one or one proven pair per tank, not compatible with sea horses or pipe fish. Adults become more aggressive as the tank size decreases.
