hi there i am very new to marine waters and have been given a tank 525x525x525 120ltr approx it has no live rock in anymore previous chap didnt like the bristle worms or something, but has ocean rock in. i have a flame fin tang,bi colur dwarf ange, 2 common clown fish,2 blue crystal damsel's,2 fire shrimp,and a hemit crab and a bubble tip anenome.i have read about approx 15-20 books on marine life invertebrates fish and corals but still feel like i dont know anthing with confidence.and looking for some fellow "experienced" reefer for insight. and would love to see lots of pictures of tanks to give me some layout ideas. !!!!!!!hope to talk to you guys soon
 
Hello and Welcome!

Any rock or sand will become "live" if its in any tank for at least a few weeks. All live means is that it has a population of bacteria living on it that can process the fish waste to less toxic chemicals (ammonia to nitrate).

And bristle worms are great member of your CUC, they are just ugly.

Finally, you should start a build thread for your tank!
