I am Addicted for sure!
It's Time for me to start a build thread. I didn't get a chance to make a build for my 46 gallon bowfront. I wish I had.

My plans are to keep a mixed reef of LPS and softies. I goal is to keep it Simple and Compact.

Tank specs:

20 Gallon Long Dimensions 30 x 12 x 13

Filtration will come from a modified Aquaclear 200.

I will be adding one overflow made from 4" ABS plastic tubing cut in half (Half Circle) to collect surface scum.

Lighting:Current USA SunPod Metal Halide Fixture, 150 Watt HQI, 30 inch

First day will be Masking of 5 sides and Painting the Back Glass Blue.

good start, but i wouldnt use MH on a 20 gallon tank, because itll over heat your water and cause you to invest in a chiller and those are not cheap by any means

Is there a T5 stup you would recommend in a 30". The only ones i have been looking at dont seem to give me enough Watts per Gallon

I think you'll be fine with the MH.But go a head and invest in a small clip of fan just in case. They are a lot cheaper than a chiller, and will do just as good a job.
