My LFS says urchins will strip my tank of any coralline within a week...is that true?That includes all of the urchin types I've seen on here.

They will eat away at your coraline but, it'll always grow back.

Mine seems to like the other algae more and I have quite a bit of coralline in my tank at the moment.

They tend to do that after a day of hard algae eating.

I've had two for a bit now, and no noticeable corraline loss.
I would make sure you have a somewhat developed tank, too, you don't ant them to run out of food.

I have 4 urchins and coralline on my rocks. It's never been a problem that I've noticed....
