Just got a feather duster...did it die on the way home?

It's good stuff...
So I bought a feather duster today and just got him home. I took him out of the bag and noticed that he didn't react...strange. I placed him in the tank and hes just there looking pretty. The fact that he doesn't react is alarming me a little. His crown didn't pop off either which I would imagine would happen if he died.

Any tips? Am I staring at a dead featherduster?

I'm embarrassed to say it but I didn't really acclimate him. A huge slip of judgement on my part.

He retracted when the LFS employee handled him though. When I was inspecting him I couldn't feel any movement inside the shell which is what makes me think he's not doing so hot.

Yes! He's alright. I watched him retract and he's beginning to position himself. Thanks for the help Smitty. I'm such a nervous parent with these fish =P

Im glad he made it, but in the future be sure to acclimate all inverts.

Also are you sure you got a feather duster? Coco worms are also commonly sold in this hobby but are much much harder to keep.
