    Looks like you're off to a great start! Since you've already got some live rock in there to start your cycle, I'd add dry rock when you are able to finance it. It's far cheaper than live rock and if you rinse it off first it shouldn't cause a new cycle. Check out bulk reef supply or marco rocks. I personally prefer the pukani rock from BRS - its super light and porous so you get a lot more rock for what you spend. Out of curiosity, what are the dimensions of your tank? I've got a hex I'm in the process of setting up and wonder how close it is to yours in terms of dimensions.

    nice looking tank. We all struggle with taking things slow. I'm in that dilemma now wanting to make my tank look as nice as everyone else's. But mine has only been going for a couple of weeks now....patience is a virtue....
