Leather looking a bit sick?

Its been like this for a little while, im performing a big water change today but its just been flaking on half of it, and the other half has been coming out regularly like its meant to.

So is this bad? or could it just be shedding and growing?

My leather closes for days at a time, its just the way they are. Do you feed them at all?

its not that its closed, its flaking all over. i put rodifers in the tank for the corals but thats all. half opens, but the other half has been closed for 5 days and is flaking more and more as you can see in the picture.

It's normal...it's just shedding. Give it a couple of days.

Leather will "shed" a layer of skin and mucus every so often.So its normal.

DAMN! I had a fiji leather look like that and I threw it away, fearing it was going to nuke/pollute my tank!!!

They like alot of indirect flow,especially to sloth off the film.

It should have enough flow, i might flip him around just in case. As long as its just shedding thats ok, so ill see how it goes :) thanks

I going against the grain by saying the it looks a bit more than just sluffing or shedding to me. Maybe it's the picture but I don't think it looks well. Sorry.

I did think the same thing dcan, i get a feelign its not doing well and im not sure why, light is appropriate and the water levels are great, it has all space and the flame angel hasnt picked on it, but im not sure
