LED lights

Has anyone seen these in action? Does it give you the sparkling "under the sea" look that seems to be missing from tanks? Why are the stunners so much cheaper than the big tank lights? This technology seems to be the future, am I wrong?

catherine ive never seen those but i also am trying to figure out how to put some lights similar to that on my tank hood, there was on one thread where one of the members used leds from model cars and it looked good gave it a good moon glow affect, so i am going to look into some of those to connect to the hood on my tank

if you want the led moon light look get some led x-mas lights.\
those lights are for looks mostly there is no were near the power needed to give the tank the light it needds unless you want to add a hundred of them

Ohhhhhhh, good idea! Didn't think of that! THANKS! I wonder if you could add some white ones to get that sunlight through the water shimmer? I'll try it on my 55 gallon that doesn't have anything in it yet, cool!
