Led strips

Hi Guys,

If i was to add some led strips to my tank do these make a large contribution to coral? as i only have t8's at the moment

Generally I would say no. By the time you have enough of the LED strips to acutally make a difference, you will have spent as much or more than what a good LED fixture (or MH/T5) would have cost

The LED strips are mostly for accenting existing lighting to get the desired color

I agree with north, take that money and put it into some better lighting over the tank.. the t-8's really are not going to grow alot for you...
