light timing

Ok, so i finally got some timers for my tank, I was wondering when I should have them all on,

I have a 2 bulb t5 light with a 10000k and normal bulb. and a 150 watt metal halide.

I was thinking, have both lights come on at 10am in the morning and have the metal halide run till about 2pm? And leave my T5 gloves on until 8pm. Is 10 hours too much ? or is this a good combination.

And with the light for my sump, should i leave that to run for 8-10 hours?

what do you guys recomment?

10 hrs is fine. I would have the T5's come on 1st, an hour later the MH turn on and stay on for 8 hrs. Then 1 hr after the MH is off, the T5's shut off.

Thats how I got mine set up.

Mine are set up like that except for about 2 hours longer.

yep as said above that is exactly how i have mine set up. should work great for you.

Thanks :) We will see how it goes, now that i have timers, the Cyano should disappear, because it was only a small problem.
