what do u guys think about the odyssea t5 20"
i know its not the best fixture but i plan on doing maybe like 1 or 2 soft corals in my 10
just something simple.

im getting a killer deal on it. would it be able to support my corals in a 10?

soft corals it will easily support in a 10 gallon I would bet you can keep alot of LPS's in there also with that light, might want to change the bulbs..

That fixture will work. I think you can even keep LPS and maybe SPS if you keep them high enough in the tank. You'll want to switch the bulbs out, though (+1). I would suggest ATI's.

Here's the fixture I'm getting. 2x20 watt 18" T5HO. Dr.s Foster & Smith has it for $64.99 with free shipping.

I'm not sure what the greatest bulbs would be for a fixture shorter than 24", I know ATI is fantastic, but they come in 24, 36, 48 and 60...

I just set up my 10g about a month ago and I have that exact light fixture. So far so good. I have zoas, palys and a brain coral. I just put a sps frag in tonight to see how it does. I was trying to find bulbs to switch to and I cant find anything shorter than 24in which really sucks. It will deff be fine for Softies.
