Lighting question...

Reefing newb
I have a 55gal FOWLER and I'm considering going to reef in the future. I understand lighting, calcium, and many factors play a part in a successful reef aquarium. My question is in regards to lighting. I know some corals require more/better lighting while some aren't quite as "picky". However, I am wondering what would be appropriate lighting in general. I don't have specific corals in mind just yet however I am curious about the lighting I already have. Its a 4 bulb (2x 10,000k and 2x actinic) 216watt T5. It also has 4 moonlight LED's even thought they provide nothing but cosmetics. However, Is this a good light to start with and then upgrade later as needed? Thanks to all!

that light will be fine for about anything you would want to throw in it..
Just remmeber to change out the bulbs every 8 months or so.. :D

I have a condy anemone now and it seems to be doing great! As far as other reef species, I guess we will see what happens. Thank you all for your responses!!!
