Future home of my Tank!~!

awesome lionfish. How big are you going? I am excited to see how your tank develops. I am jealous of the remodel. It looks great.

Nice work Lionfish, floors look awesome, everything else looks like its falling into place as well... cant wait to see the tank...

p.s. how much ya pay the helper gnomes?

I know Reef but the 241 wasnot doable ! spent to much on the remodel i guess,

you guys help me decide on a light system, I would like it to be Around the 500 550 area 72'

72" lights are going to be REALLY hard to find in the $500 price range, but you could probably do it if you bought a used fixture or did a bit of DIY. My 72" lights costs $1300 .

if you have a canopy you could mount a few halide reflectors in there versus buying a fixture. that would save a few bucks. but, you will still be lucky to get everything for 550. those dang halide ballast are killer on the wallet.

yeah the whole RETRO idea is what i was thinking !

The used market is ok too, I have found a guy selling Reeffreaks light kit for $725 shipped but i moved too slow for that one.

So far i have found 3 400W MH for $550
and a 1134 MH\t5 combo for $600 , these arent the name brand lights.

I have a friend that has the same light and has used them for well over a year with no problems so those will be a last resort Deal

You know I was messing around about your tank being only 210 gal. right?
Its still an awesome size and will allow you to do whatever you like(well almost).

I would just shop around and look for a good use lights.I haven't seen anything I could recommend for under $600.

of course i know you were messin' man lol, ( i wanted to beat the Biff too!)
thanks for lookin if it is in tat ball park its ok as well let me re adjust my price range 550 to 700

The Aquactinics Constellation is about $700 without the bulbs.Let the new tank cycle without lights and slowly add the bulbs when you can.
