Live rock hitch hiker need ID please

So i just got live rock for my new tank and i found some life on it. When i touched it, it went back into its hole.

It's aiptasia; a pest anemone. You will want to kill it. Your best option is to use Aiptasia X, which you can get at your LFS. It is a very common hitch hiker, so take care of it now before it multiplies and spreads.

No, these things come on the live rock, has nothing to do with cycling. Get the Aptasia X get rid of it now, and keep an eye open for any more, if you keep you tank free if it early, you won't have any later,

+1 Slim. They are very tough critters and can survive on live rock even if the tank is cycling.
