Reefing newb
Ok so I got some really extremely nice 7 year old reef sna dfinally from my older cousin in VA. I temp aclimated the stuff lol, and spread it over my sand in the middle. He has crushed coral, BUT, its really really small CC for some reason??? So I kinda like it, and it doesnt trap anything scne its not much bigger than sand. But I checked the next day and I have lots of pods, a bunch of spaghetti worms (i think) some tiny red and black ones like thinner than hair thats building a tube on my glass. And of course my hermit ran it over lol.

But yesterday I noticed my tank looked just a tinge cloudy? Like jsut barely. I added the sand at least 4 days ago now. today I didnt pay much attention to it, since ive been gone since this morning, and im still not home. But it seemed less than yesterday? What could cause this? I dose 2 part alk and calcium buffer once/per week. Its not sand dust, it settles within hours in my tank now.

could be a snow storm 2 part alk and calcium buffer once/per week.Do you slowly add it in liquid form or poor it all at once

I drip it in, but yeah all at once. I add it at night when lights are off. and i only add a capfull, which comes out to be less than suggested for my tank size. But on a side note... Its gone?? was very strange though. Its been gone for about 2 days now. But I did a water change yesterday. Im doing another tomorrow. And then preparing for the move.....
