Message sent so now ssalty and alexander know. There could be a valid explanation I just can't imagine why they didn't say anything. Its frustrating. I'm very sorry again.

I have talked to Alexander, and I now know who my Secret Santa is. I just hope he's man enough to show his face and give an explanation.

I guess that's the price we pay for trusting someone over the internet that we haven't met.

Can't say I will do this again.

BTW, my Secret Santa was Fastlight...

That's cool, but you don't sign up for something if you are unsure if you can make the deadline or not.

I will leave it at that. I am just glad that I was able to follow through with the Secret Santa.

End of story. I don't really care what happens anymore.

That does suck. That was my first thought too Dustin. Maybe it was an emergency. Not much we can do. But this sucks. I really hope this doesn't make you not want to join in again ssalty but I completely understand. I know fastlights gift got shipped to the wrong address cuz of FedEx and he hasn't responded to us about that either. So I don't know going on

When doing these things, there's always a glitch here or there. The thing to keep in mind is that the overwhelming majority of us did the right thing and had a good time. Ssalty, I have a feeling Santa might come just a little late to you so keep your hopes up.

I just read the last part of this thread and wanted to say that really sucks SSalty. But i got the impression from fast that he is a good family man and a marine and I think that he has a good explanation for his delay. Give him some time and he'll probably come thru...

I will agree. I am an understanding person. I just needed to get my frustrations out:grumble:

It's all good now. I have more fun giving then receiving.

I've been really sick since Christmas.I wanted to let my SS know I got the giftand also to say Thank You. Been using the mug for my hot tea. Haven't used the sweat bands yet, no energy. Also used the garlic. Thanks a bunch. I'll post pics if I ever get over whatever I got. Also I plan on doing it again next year.

I just want to let you guys/gals know that my secret santa DID follow through. I recieved my generous present TODAY! Even though "Fastlight" (my SS) hasn't been active since December 7th, I am assuming that he has been busy with the marines.

That is great to hear! I'm glad this years LRSS had a happy ending after all. No one was left disappointed. (Thank god. I would have hated to have to come up with a punishment for someone that didn't follow through :)).
