Looking for a good light for my 35 hex

    For a 35 gallon tank, that puts you right at 1 watt per gallon of PCs, which is not enough to keep any corals alive :(

    You are better off going with a hanging pendant, because lights on legs that fit hex tanks are nearly impossible to find.

    Around 4 per gallon. That's not a strict rule, as it will vary from tank to tank depending on the depth of the tank and stuff, but since a hex tank is taller, you would want at least 4.
