looking for a power head

hey guys i just upgraded to an 40 gallon tank..

now i need to upgrade power heads. right now i hav a canaster and a 120 gph powerhead.. i need something stronger. so how many gph powerhead should i get?

im found one for 800 gph. will this work?

that should be plenty, but i think ideally you should have one on each side of the tank.

you want your tank volume turned over around 40x per hour, so i think with addition of a couple more powerheads you will be fine.

Also canister filters can become a problem in reef tanks if you arent cleaning them out weekly. Most people instead get a good protein skimmer, it works much better than a canister filter.
