Lowering Salinity

Checked my levels today, just for kicks, and found my salinity to be 1.028. Some of it was from evap while I had my sump down changing overflows, but not all of it...... I try to keep it at 1.025-1.026. How quickly can I lower it without shocking the tank?

If nothing seems to be affected I would lower it slowly over the next few days. If you can lower it .001 every day I think it would be better than dropping .003 or so right away.

Next time you do a water change just put water back in that's somewhere around 1.020 or a little lower...and keep doing that every time you change your water until you get the level where you want it...
