Looks like some type of Caulerpa.

It's fine as long as you're fine with it. It shouldn't cause any harm.

Grape Caulerpa maybe. You may want to pluck it if it is, I have tons in my tank, gets crazy out of control. And when it does it can crash your tank.

Thx guys. Looks like it's Taxifolia. I know in the wild it's invasive and can smother coral. I plan on maintaining a small batch to help export nutrients cuz I'm kinda battling some light hair algae. I'll also be looking for signs of it going sexual. It's on a small rock with those zoas, which are expendable, so anything that looks threatening and it'll be tossed.

If you want to eradicate it off the rock with the zoas, dip the rock in a 50/50 hydrogen peroxide/saltwater dip for a few mins. That should kill the algae without causing no harm to the coral.

its ok as long as you are willing to control it if i had it i would fuge it but to quote little fish " those tend to grow out of control and can go sexual which is not nearly as fun as it sounds."
