Mag Float on Acrylic?

Are they safe for acrylic aquariums? Someone gave me a 100g corner for free and it has a couple minor scratches on it and I don't want to add more (obviously!). It came with 2 mag floats so I just want to be sure they're appropriate to use or if I need to get a different pad or just something else.

Some MagFloats are for glass only, but they also make acrylic ones. It depends on what kind you have.

Acrylic:
Acrylic Aquarium Algae Scrapers: Acrylic Safe Mag-Float

Glass:

So the color coding indicates the type? The ones I have are blue so they are what I need if that's true. Thanks again!

I've only ever used the gray ones (for glass), so it appears if it's blue, it's for acrylic. :)
