i think i might need a new food for the fish what should i feed for the replacement of the flakes?


Fishes:

1. 2 Green Chromes
2. 1 Salfin Tang
3. 1 Hippo Tang
4. 2 Orange Purcula Clowns
5. 2 Black Percula Clowns
6. 1 Mandarin (Wild)

Tank: 60 Gallons

So far i feed pellets formula 1

Switch to the frozen saltwater foods. You can find a variety at Petco and Petsmart. Be sure to feed dried seaweed sheets for the tangs.

i do feed seaweed but what kind of frozen fish food?

There are a lot of different kinds, so you should use a variety. Marine Cuisine, Emerald Entree, fortified brine, mysis, krill, daphnia, etc.

i am gonna use mysis shrimp also is the freeze dried the best or the frozen cube one the best i see the freeze dried one have more mysis shrimp in it

I wouldn't use freeze dried. In my experience, fish don't like freeze dried foods as much.

Once a day, or once every other day.

When you shop for frozen foods I suggest you look for ones labeled "pathogen free". Frozen foods can have parasites in them and the ability of parasites to re-animate after freezing is well known. This might explain the mysterious appearance of ich in a tank. Blood worms, coming from fresh water sources, will not have parasites. I NEVER use anything but pathogen free foods.

Some people use Rods Food so be sure to check them out. I believe it's a popular brand to use.
