mantis or pistol

im hearing a popping sound every few minutes in my tank after the lights go off.... its only one at a time... i still havent seen any sign of either and havent had any mysterious disappearances either.

 

try and pin point where the clicking is coming from and feed around that area thats how i could identify what is was he shot out right away.i had two mantis shrimps i seen them once in maybe a week there tough suckers .

 

Is it conscutive clicking? pistol shrimp dont click constantly. So if its a few in a minute, most likely its a mantis.

 

No it's like pop then a minute or two then another single pop then another few minutes etc
