Mantis Shrimp Larva?

After soaking the coral, a few things came out. Boy, so many unwanted freebies...

This thing was hiding between the gap of the coral and the plug.

Nope,not baby a baby mantis:D Thats just an adult amphipod.
What you got was free fish food with that one.
 
Under the microscope, it look very much like the"Very Late Stage" picture. The 2 front claw was clearly visible. I hope I'm wrong cause I already dump it into the tank...
 
maybe some fish will eat him then no issue. From all the reading I did on mantis shrimp the other night , if by some chance he was a mantis shrimp, he wont live long in a tank with fish. Hes snack size. :D
 
You got no worries on that one Wes.
Baby mantis are just mini-adults.They look just like an adult,so theres no mistaking them.
