The cold water worked I poured the water in the holes until all the crabs and everything started jumping out and then I scooped them up with a spoon and put them in warm water.
I probably shouldnt have made it as cold as it was though (43degrees) everything went into shock for a few minutes but only 1 crab actually died. It turns out I had 2 pistol shrimps pop out both are at the LFS waiting on homes now.
Then last night after putting the rocks in my main tank sure enogh we start hearing the effin popping again! UGH
