metal halide bulb

can any one tell me what FC2 stands for in 150W HQI FC2 lamps
i have searched and searched cannot find anything. and can these be replaced with other bulbs without the FC2 label?

I THINK (So don't quote me) it has something to do with the connector type that's @ the end(s) of the light bulb. Some are double-ended, some are single, some have rounded connectors & others have connecters that look like a " T " on the tips of each end.
