Micro-bubbles? Maybe not?

What I thought were micro-bubbles in the tank might instead be tiny particles of the sand substrate being tossed into suspension from the current.

Would this mean my VorTechs are mounted too low (about 1/3 of the way down the tank) or have the speed set too high? I have the strength set to about half normally. I turned them way down to about 1/4 of their full potential to see what the deal is.

The troubleshooting continues. ;)

Is it new sand in the tank. It will put out a dust look like micro-bubbles. It will clear up with water changes. (if the sand is new)

Most of the sand is a month old. Some is younger. I've added a bag here and there as I see low spots. I'm done with that though, so hopefully it will settle.
