Anybody know anything about this coral? I just bought a TINY frag (half the size of a baby fingernail) from an independent dealer here in SF... this is the link he provided for this beauty:

it kind of looks like the mycedium that I have in my tank

except I am sure your monti has way better colors.

I imagine they are like all other SPS, need strong light, great water conditions, and grow slower than you have patience for. Post us a pic when you can

Marco your tank looks amazing. Love the corals. I'm thrilled that I know what they are. Before I had no clue.

Its a green monti cap.Lots and lots of chaotic flow and moderate light.One of the easier SPS corals.
