Mushroom acting funny

I've had my green striped mushrooms for 2 months and I've had lots of growth. Recently one of them moved over and had a baby. Then a yesterday it starte to fold in on himself. It is a large head and would cover the small one is he is fully extended, so is it just making room or what?

+1 fish Maybe something just bumped him and got irritated :) Mine do that a lot -- shrink a whole day, then the next day back to normal. Shrooms are very resilient (mine survived under plain ole T8 bulbs in my 10g at one point...and they still spread.
