Mushroom coral fell off rock

Hello

I have some mushroom coral and they are starting to split into more and more tiny ones

Well this morning I noticed one in the sand underneath one of the larger ones. I know it probably detached itself because it wasnt getting the lighting it needed underneath the big one. But my question is how do i go about attaching it to a new rock where it will get enough light and grow?

Thanks Brian

If you have a small rock or piece of rubble. put the coral on the rock and cover it with some fine mesh netting until it reattaches and then remove the netting and place the rock. (not too fine on the netting as you want good circulation through the netting.)

Thanks for your reply

I tried the ruberband method but the little guy squirmed out from underneath it over night and now he is lost somewhere in the tank

Hopefully he will reappear some day

Brian

It will atach elsewere, but dont worry once they start splitting they dont stop pretty soon they be all over the rock.I started with two in different colors now I have 25+ and find myself tring to remove some of them
