Are mushrooms able to relocate in the tank if they dont like their surroundings?

I agree, but once they come loose, they pretty much get lost in the tank.

Yeah. I have a "mushroom graveyard" in one back corner of my tank, where drifters have reattached and taken up a new home.

Mine will do the same thing when things get crowded.
