For those of you who have set up already, how load is the filter?

Mine rattled when I had the lid on. So I took the lid off, and it's silent. Be sure you use that plastic piece that attaches beneath the filter to keep it upright.

mine is silent, with the lid on. It did take me a while to figure what that plastic bit was for though... :mrgreen:

It screws into the bottom of the filter so that the filter is standing straight up and down, and not slanted.

The mushrooms are only temporary while i wait for local reefers to come get them. I chiseled them off some rock they had overgrown in my main tank. Although i kind of like the way it looks.
