Is it normal for a Mussel to be growing off a SPS frag?

I have seen Barnacle claws growing out of SPS all the time.

Not saying that it can't happen. But I don't see a mussel growing on SPS.Are you sure it's not some type of snail.

ill post a pic tomorrow but it looks like a mussel and has been there all day apparently
I had a chalice with some sort of clam growing in it a few years ago. It didn't turn out so well for the clam when the chalice started growing. Still they seemed to have spread as I found tons of them when I had to rip my tank apart to move a while back. Anyway if the coral looks fine I wouldn't worry about it.
